Paris Agreement refers to mitigation co-benefits

In the text of the Paris Agreement adopted at the COP 21 United Nations Climate Change Conference, there is reference to the concept that co-benefits of adaptation efforts can contribute to mitigation, which experts believe can open new pathways for projects conducted by Indigenous groups, such as savanna burning.
